Brick Flicks Stop-Motion Lego Workshop with Create School – 10am-12.30pm
Suitable for 8-12 year olds
A special Halloween themed Brick Flicks (Lego stop motion) workshop. You will learn how to make a spooky set, create a zombie invasion and then have your favourite Lego character save the day! As always the workshops are focused on a combination of simple demonstration with plenty of hands-on learning. Movies will be shared through Dropbox and Youtube! Materials are supplied though participants are encouraged to bring along their own favourite Lego characters and a few zombies.
This workshop involves plenty of hands-on learning, combined with some simple demonstrations. Students collaborate in small groups to design and create their set (all materials supplied), storyboard and plan their stop motion movies. They then film and produce them on iPads (also supplied). Final movies are shared on Create School’s YouTube channel for parents and teachers to view (you can check out previous masterpieces here).
